Healthy Living for Montana Seniors Conference, 2003Ms. Van Norman had the honor of being the luncheon keynote speaker for this conference which included as speakers, U.S. Surgeon General Richard Carmona, U.S. Assistant Secretary on Aging Josefina Carbonell, and U.S. Senator Burns-Montana, and Senator Craig-Idaho.

There are hundreds of presentations at this important conference. Ms. Van Norman was one of only twenty invited speakers from around the world to do workshops for this conference.
1995 White House Conference on Aging
Ms. Van Norman spoke on the need for quality exercise programs and instruction for older adults. Her position statement, "Maximizing Options for A Quality of Life", was published by AAALF and distributed to delegates; then was adopted by the Council on Aging and Adult Development (CAAD) as their national position statement concerning quality programming for seniors.
